Purchased a bespoke cabin for my son to stay in when back from uni. The team were great from start to finish. James very patient during the design stage and Fiona always incredibly helpful. The few niggles during the construction phase were dealt with promptly and we are really happy with the end result . Thank you all.

I was looking for a cabin to BS3632 standard as it will be a permanent residence (it'll be for a houseboat but it's a normal cabin we're after to sit on the floating platform). Having been told by "James" (no surname given or on emails) they're not compliant I asked for a quote to bring one to this standard, based on their £60k Osprey cabin. He asked for another £25k on top. Just for the shell, it would still be up to me to fit out internally to this level. When I politely asked for more explanation of the extra cost he became very rude, said I didn't know what I was doing or talking about and hung-up mid-conversation. With that attitude don't trust these guys for more than a garden shed.-----I leave my original review above, but following the anonymous person's (labelled by Google as the company owner) response the following should be addressed for others to make a fair call:* I said early-on this was for a house boat and was told they'd had similar requests before that had been "completed with success". Unprompted you offered to provide estimated weights "to comply with pontoon loadings".* I was clear I was not asking for a complete houseboat from a garden cabin company and would have full responsibility for the boat elements.* I was also clear I was after a shell whose insulation was compatible with BS3632, not fully-qualified as I was aware there were other internal elements you did not provide.* For the avoidance of doubt I sent you a CAD of the proposed cabin layout and its installation on the pontoons.* You voluntarily prepared an outline sketch and quote after receiving all this and a phone call by myself, during which I give my finished cabin budget of between £80k - £100k. Clearly you were happy to accept my request, though I gave you ample opportunity to decline during our exchange over the week.* Upon receiving the quote for £85k, given the £25k above the slightly larger Osprey model on your website it was only sensible to request an explanation, which had not been provided on the quote or any time before.* I was perfectly prepared to pay additional costs for the thicker insulation (and I agree there should be), I only asked for a brief explanation of how this extra £25k was derived. I also clarified the budget I'd said was for the complete cabin, and less was available for the shell alone, but still upwards of £60k prior to additional insulation etc. Having received no reply to this e-mail for a few days I thought it best to make a second call.* It was during this call that I had the one-star worthy very poor experience with the same James I had been emailing. I very much need to emphasise I was at no point aggressive or even "irate" and several times tried to calm your staff member down when he started telling me I had no idea what I was doing, having honestly only asked for an explanation for this additional cost. I recall trying to de-escalate with "let's reset this chat a bit" and "thank you for your thoughts but I think we've got our communication wrong here". I was ultimately cut short by him saying "I've only just got into the office so I've got to go now" and hung-up on me. I wish there was a recording I could share.* I also mentioned the one, single previous company I had spoken with who were ultimately unable to meet my budget (following a friendly in-person meeting) during this call which you have tried to turn against me. They behaved impeccably in comparison. So that's the complete background that I had hoped was unnecessary to include details of in the review. However, rather than demonstrate your company takes a poor customer experience seriously and tries to improve, you've straight-away launched into a completely unfounded public character assassination and straw-man fallacy. I can only suggest that anyone looking to invest their £10k's with your company consider what it would be like to be on the receiving end of what you've seen here (and in other replies) should any issue arise.

If you want a log cabin, I think this is the only place to go. Great value, brilliant service, everything on time, delivery faultless despite difficult access and a terrific construction team. I can't speak highly enough of them. Really good people all round.

Bought our cabin 14 yrs ago. Looked great, but soon realised it was sloping, from front to back it was out around 5cm, okey no big deal, but they didn't even come to check.Just before the guarantee ran out the shingles on one side of the roof slipped, on inspection I found these were not fixed, and just relied on their tar strip which in some cases was still intact. They responded with a derisery email, then the guarantee ran out. Then we had health issues, then covid and lockdown. When we finally got back to the cabin we had leaks on one side, I patched it up best I could, I'm 72 and not great with heights.I entered into a to and fro with Rob from Keops. Initially he appeared very helpful, and our correspondence was very cordial. But it soon broke down, he no longer responds to my emails. The last but one asking for a quote to re roof the cabin.I had no other alternative but to leave this review.

From start to finish it was such an easy experience, just the right amount of contact and guidance to build a cabin in our garden for my wife to use for her dressmaking hobby. The team that came to build were prompt and worked diligently to complete the task in under two days. I always truly judge a business about how they manage things when things go wrong, a replacement lock and a replacement piece of glass was no trouble. I would recommend their product and the teams without reservation.

Nothing but praise from the time we went to order. We've ad the summer house for 6 or 7 years now. The design and installation were faultless. We still comment on how nice the installation guys were. We've had a couple of minor issues with the door settling but that's more to do with the weather and stretch/shrinkage in the wood which really is unavoidable. Both times the guys have come out and sorted it for us.The window catch snapped yesterday (again brittle from being in full sunlight for 6 years). Called to ask where I can buy a replacement and within 24 hours aew catch was delivered free of charge.Simply amazingdavebwiseman

I had my home office log cabin built by Keops 12 years ago, the service throughout the process was excellent. Over the years a few small things have got damaged and I have contacted Keops and each time their service levels can not be faulted. You can buy from them with 100% surety that you will be looked after both at time of purchase and in the future. Well done team Keops!

Our experience was positive from start to finish. Clive arrived to construct the base and quickly and efficiently completed the task. He was followed by two delightful young men who erected the cabin within 5 days. They were followed by Matt, the plumber and Adam the electrician who both worked on site to fit the cabin out beautifully. Their attention to detail was amazing and Matt's efforts to produce an immaculate result was really praiseworthy. Throughout the whole process, Fiona in the office was helpful, efficient and supportive. I feel very lucky indeed to have had such a fantastic team. Thank you all! And well done Keops!Best wishes, Maggie and Christine

We bought a bespoke classic cabin from Keops last year.We purchased with Keops after buying another log cabin from a different company the year before. That had been a very difficult experience and it took us 9 months to get our money back and the cabin taken away so we were wary about going through that again.A few people recommended Keops and so we took the gamble to try again and we weren’t disappointed. The quality is great and the fit was good and it continues to be a great asset to our home.Luke at Keop was a great support through the installation process and put us at ease throughout. There were a few minor issues but Luke was brilliant in keeping us informed and checking in with us. His calmness, reliability and great communication has made this such a pleasure compared to our experience the previous year.I would recommend Keops cabins and would use them again in the future.Chris Cowan

I unfortunately have a disability and the easiest option was to build a log cabin on my sisters property and have it fitted out to suit my own needs, so I contacted keops to see if they could help.I have to say they were brilliant, they could not do enough for me polite, helpful nothing was to much trouble for them, I had to make a change as it was being made and I thought it would be a problem but they handled it perfectly for Me. They reply to email very quickly and i can honestly say nothing is a problem for them and they always go the extra mile for you.If you are thinking of building one of these cabins then use keops I can promise you won’t be disappointed if you do use them then I highly recommend the tradesmen they use the plumber and the electrician that I used were second to none first class workmanship and very pleasant men.As I have already said use these people for your build you won’t be disappointed.Michael and julie

We purchased a Moderna cabin from Keops 4 years ago. We have been delighted with ours. The company was first class and took care of all our specifications. The cabin was manufactured off site, concrete base arranged for us and we paid for installation which took only 2 days ( Painting done by ourselves ) It has been an excellent and much used addition to our new build property. I won a green roof in a competition last year which fits perfectly on the slightly sloping roof and enhances it further
