Can I Install a Wood Burning Stove In My Log Cabin?

Many Keops customers choose to install wood-burning stoves to keep their log cabins cosy all year-round. If you have a good supply of wood it can be a stylish and sustainable way to keep your cabin cosy during the cooler months of the year. Our advice is to choose a small wood burner with a low KW output especially if you’ve also decided to fit insulation in your cabin.

For the safety of the timber structure, we require all Keops customers to get their stove fitted by a registered HETAS engineer, as special care needs to be given to the hearth and back plate and twin skin insulated flue. The simplest flue arrangement is to go straight up and out through the roof.
