Adding a Useful Lean-to to Your Log Cabin
A lean-to or side store can be a great addition to any log cabin. They can add much needed extra space for a more economical price. Ideal as storage, garden equipment, bikes, tools etc, can be safely stored out of the way but readily accessible when needed. And because its use is more utilitarian, the specification can be lower than the main cabin which saves on the budget. For example you could choose the lean-to in 33m logs and forego the insulation in this part as there would be little benefit, a wooden floor is optional. Standard sizes are 1500mm x 1500mm, 1500mm x 2000mm and 1500mm x 2450mm in either 33mm, 45mm or 56mm log thickness and include a single solid wooden door.
